Off the Record
Devil in Winter
Bound by Lies
Come to Me Quietly
Actually I was intrigued to read this book because of the author. The name sounded familiar to me. When I realized that the book was pretty short, I thought it would be a simple read. But I was wrong. The book is a short novel on the lives of Avery Stanz and Sean Ferro. It is book one of the series. And that really pissed me off a lot considering that I expected it to be a standalone. -.-
Okay, moving to the story. The story is about Avery who’s struggling on surviving her college life due to her financial problems. She develops a friendship with Sean after he offer her help once. Avery’s friend introduces her to the world of call girls and although at first she says no, she finally agrees. Why? Because she needs money and she has a crush on the client, Sean. The story ends with a cliffhanger. They meet and Avery asks him to teach her everything about sexual skills. The End.
I enjoyed this book, to my surprised, a lot. It was a light read and I liked the characters. Both characters are relatable. But that’s it, I like it, but I don’t love it.
