A couture wedding dress designer to the rich and famous, Lexi LaCroix’s image means everything. But crossing paths with a sexier-than-sin, bad-boy biker makes Lexi realize how much living she’s sacrificed for her success and one touch is all it takes to threaten her carefully choreographed life. When that touch fills far more than just Lexi’s physical needs, she finds herself torn between the career she needs and the bad-boy she craves.
Jax Chamberlin gave up the superficial life of acting for the thrill of running his own stunt company years ago. But a recent betrayal proves he’s still too close to the limelight to find a woman who doesn’t plan to use him as a stepping-stone to success. When the charming and mysterious Lexi offers him a totally anonymous hook-up during an out of town trip, Jax accepts. Only Lexi is more sextacular than charming, and Jax wants more.
But Lexi’s got a major hang-up over his renegade lifestyle, and Jax isn’t willing to change his ways. Especially not when he discovers who she really is. Because if she finds out his connections could catapult her to the top of her career, he’s afraid the fantasy woman he’s falling for might just end up like all the other gold-diggers. And this time, it’s not just his bad-boy reputation at risk, but his heart, too.

"..depressed miserable characters.." ~ Jennifer Kyle
"Jax came off as feeling too insecure most of the time. He keep waiting for Lexi to drop the bomb on him and make her demand. While, Lexi came off as putting too much into maintaining her image. What wrong with Jax, anyway? He had his own career and a hot bode to die for. Considering she's selling her dress for ten of thousands dollars, she sounded too insecure about her financial situation." ~ Amanda
"...how can someone be so stupid not seeing his/her having a sex with even it's in the dark? Right?" ~ Claudine Pascua
"...I didn’t fully grasp her conflict or hesitation regarding him. At first, she doesn’t know who he really is and she’s afraid he might taint her reputation somehow because he looks like a biker boy (he might not be good enough). I understand she has to be very careful about what she does and who she does it with because it might ruin her business and she had a previous negative experience with a man. But then she finds out who he is and once again she hesitates because he might have too much influence in her circle of acquaintances (he’s too good). So we go from one extreme to the other and for a moment I wanted to slap her. Thankfully this issue was resolved fast before it got annoying, and Lexi made the right choice. ~ Kari
"Lexi was just ok for me, I kind of got frustrated with her at times her being so worried about her image was just stupid ~ Kristen
"It's a nice sweet storyline between two people from opposite walks of life. But they really aren't so different, they're actually quite similar and been through similar situations...it didn't hold interest for me." ~Margaret

"The book was okay. Good start, good writing. The plot is good too. But I didn't connect to any of it. Even in MC. I don't have problem wit insta-love and insta-lust, but for this, it didn't hit me. It fell flat on me. There is something missing from them(IMO)." ~ Len
"Cheers to a... Meh read. Oh the joy. I wouldn't go so far as to say this book was horrible per se, but it certainly wasn't anything to write home about. All of the high ratings are actually a bit of a shock to take in but alas, I suppose I came across another "everyone loved but me" incident." ~ ✿Alyssa✿
"SORRY guys- I just did not get it??" ~ Farah *Professor Dean's Beauty*
"If Vera Wang showed up with a hot stunt man, I seriously doubt it would hurt her career. So, the premise is a bit shaky." ~ Angela Bee Bee"BORING AS FUCK AND IT WASN'T AS HOT AS GUSHED AND THE IDENTITY THING WAS SO FUCKING RIDICULOUS!" Well Umm.. It's Me, Fifi Herself :D
